Pre-Primary in Dance is designed for children from the age of 5 years. It introduces children to dance using the natural actions of the body such as running, walking, jumping, hopping, skipping and galloping. Pre-Primary emphasizes the fun elements in learning the basics of classical ballet by using shapes and imaginative movements.

A natural progression from Pre-Primary, Primary in Dance is designed for children from the age of 6 years. Develops strong foundation in classical ballet concepts such as use of turnout, posture, flexibility, musicality and coordination. This level prepares the children for a successful transition to classical ballet at higher levels.

Here, the teaching of true ballet technique commences, along with increased emphasis on correct posture, placement and line. Students learn the vocabulary and how to join these together in different ways, and importantly to show enjoyment in what they are doing. Students are also able to interpret music and display a developing sensitivity to musical content and style.

Age Group: Age 9 and above 
Duration: 1 hour per class. Once per week. 
Requirements: Has graduated from RAD Grade 2 or otherwise, requires assessment from the instructor. Two classes per week (Double Class) are required for exam preparation.

It utilizes the benefits of gravity, core balance and body weight training, making it a rewarding and fun exercise.

Movements become increasingly complex and varied and students learn to develop quick responses through the use of unset work. Students show a clear understanding of the mechanics and purpose of the required vocabulary. An increased sense of performance, awareness of space and dynamics and development of choreography are emphasized.

If you have never danced before or tried Hip-Hop, this is your course. This introductory level dance class is open to all adult students without any prior dance experience. This foundation class focuses on building technical skills, freestyle ability and mastering the basic of Hip-Hop techniques. This class incorporates basic dance vocabulary, placement and movement in a specific technique, which in turn prepares you to progress to the more advanced stages of Hip-Hop dance.

INTRO TO SALSA

This course is aimed for anyone who think they have two left feet and no experience at all in salsa. We start from the very beginning with all the salsa basics by working on the basic footwork and understanding of the music rhythm and timing without the added pressure of having to ‘do it’ with someone else. We will then gradually introduce the fundamentals of partner dancing, basic lead and following techniques, turns and how to put it all together into basic figures and fun easy flowing variations. Don’t worry, your first attempts at dancing with someone who is likely their absolute first steps in salsa too.

We start from the very beginning with all the salsa basics by working on the basic footwork and understanding of the music rhythm and timing without the added pressure of having to ‘do it’ with someone else. We will then gradually introduce the fundamentals of partner dancing, basic lead and following techniques, turns and how to put it all together into basic figures and fun easy flowing variations. Don’t worry, your first attempts at dancing with someone who is likely their absolute first steps in salsa too.

KIDS HIP-HOP MINI

This is a fun Hip-Hop classes for ages 5-7 (mini) and ages 8-13! In this fun beginner class, it teaches the fundamentals of Hip-Hop movement and style to appropriate Hip-Hop music. The classes are exciting with a focus on developing a young dancer’s self-confidence and esteem through performance skills unique to this style of dance. Getting your children involved in our Hip-Hop class can provide them with plenty of physical, mental and social benefits.

Age Group: Age 5 - 7
Duration: 1 hour per class. Once per week. 
Requirements: No experience necessary.
Monthly Fee: RM 90 per month

What To Wear
You may wear anything you are comfortable to move about. Do prepare a pair of clean indoor sport shoes/sneakers separately as we do not allow outdoor shoes into the studio for hygiene purposes.

BALLET GRADE 6

> New Term Intake.

Grades 6 – 8 provide progression to further personal development, lifelong learning and higher education opportunities. Students demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the vocabulary of a particular style through the wide range of movements performed with technical strength. Along with confidence, students convey self-awareness, resulting in a sensitive personal responsiveness to the musical mood. 

Age Group: Age 11 and above 
Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes per class. Once per week. 
Requirements: Has graduated from RAD Grade 5 or otherwise, requires assessment from the instructor. Two classes per week (Double Class) are required for exam preparation.
Monthly Fee: RM 195 or RM 215 (Double Class) per month

What To Wear
For first timer trial who does not have a leotard and ballet shoes, you may first wear anything stretchable and easy to move about, e.g. t-shirt, leggings and bare foot. Hair neatly tied in a bun is highly encouraged.
